How to find God

God created you to know Him. He is a God of relationship, not rules or rituals. You can know Him as a loving Father with a great plan for your life.

1.  God’s Purpose – Peace and Life

“I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

2. Our Problem  – Separation from God

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  (Rom 3:23)

3. God’s Solution – The Cross of Christ

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8)

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Rom: 10:9)

The cross bridges the gap between us and God.

How to receive Christ

1.   Admit your need (I am a sinner)

2.  Be willing to turn from your sins (repent)

3.  Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave

4. Through prayer invite Jesus Christ to come into your life (receive Him as Saviour and Lord)

Prayer

“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins and rose again. Right now, I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I receive you as my personal Saviour and Lord. Thank you for saving me. Amen.”
